While many parents were anxious after dropping their children at schools after a prolonged gap, special arrangements were made by some schools to break the ice between parents and educational institutions on Monday.
The Keshav Smruti School in Dabolim had a lot of decorative and floral arrangements made to welcome the students.
While students were welcomed by Arti and Tikka to the school, the teachers also stood at the gate with "Welcome to School" selfie photo frames.
The arrangements not only broke the ice between the school and the parents but also had a favourable reaction between students and teachers as well.
While parents appreciated the teachers and staff for going out of their way to welcome the school children, teachers said it was nice to have children back in school after a very long gap amid the Covid pandemic.
"We have been very happy to get students back in school after a gap of two years and while many students could not study effectively in the online classes, we can now attend to each and every student and ensure complete focus to educate them in school,” said a teacher.
