Shivaji jayanti at Farmagudi today
PONDA: The State-level Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti celebration will be organised at Farmagudi-Ponda on Friday at 9 am.
Department of Information and Publicity in association with Bandora Panchayat organises the programme every year.
Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar, PWD Minister Sudin Dhavalikar, Industries Minister Mahadev Naik, Minister for Factories and Boilers Deepak Dhavalikar, Ponda MLA Lavoo Mamledar, ZP member Chitra Phadate, Sarpanch Nayan Naik and others will be present on the occasion.
After garlanding the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji, Parsekar will address the gathering at Shri Gopal Ganpati Devasthan at Farmagudi.
Various programmes are organized to celebrate the jayanti. Dr Deepak Deshpande from Sangli will be the keynote speaker at the function.
