Six in Moira ward poll fray

A total of six candidates are in the fray for the by-poll in Moira which will be held on June 26.
Kailash Parab, Pravin Shirodkar, Raghanath Belekar, Rohidas Shirodkar, Rupesh Naik and Sunil Chari have remained in the fray after the end of the last day for withdrawal of names.
The campaigning in the ward ended on Friday evening. Election to the ward will take place on June 26 from 8 am to 5 pm. Results will be declared the next day.
The by-election was necessitated after Raghuvir Bhagkar resigned as the panch member of the ward.
The Moira panchayat is a seven-memnber panchayat and currently Santosh Chari is the sarpanch and Sonia Thakur the deputy sarpanch.
