PANAJI: After being posted as SP of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) barely eight months ago, Bosco George was on Wednesday transferred out of the ACB and asked to report at the police headquarters. Priyanka Kashyap, who resumed duty after a vacation, has now been appointed as SP of ACB. Another IPS officer, Suman Goyal, who also returned from a vacation, has been appointed as SP of Crime Branch.
Incidentally, George, who also had the additional charge of FRO department, will continue to head that section, states an order issued by the personnel department. In April 2017, Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar had appointed Bosco George as SP of ACB and his transfer within a gap of eight months has become a talking point in the police department.
