Japanese national Tatsuki Teramoto, who was a victim of fraud while holidaying in Goa in December 2022, has alleged that one of his compatriots “ a student “ was duped by the same accused last month.
Just before the North Goa police held a press conference to reveal the arrest of three persons in Tatsui’s case, the complainant took to Twitter to mention a similar incident that occurred on January 25-26, 2023.
“Another incident happened in Goa India. On January 25 and 26, a Japanese university student had his money taken by the same criminal group. They were led to the criminal’s hotel. They thought it was suspicious, so they looked it up on the internet and found my YouTube then... It seems that they knew that they were criminals and tried to return. However, he was told to pay for the hotel in the car and paid $20-30. Some people are involved in both incidents,” he posted in a two-thread tweet.
