Students felicitation at Canacona
CANACONA: The Senior Citizens Forum of Canacona (SCFC) in association with State Bank of India will felicitate Canacona toppers in different academic fields.
SCFC president Guilherme Martins informed that the felicitation function will be organised at Shri Mallikarjun College of Arts and Commerce, Delem, on July 1, and Sports Minister Ramesh Tawadkar will be the chief guest.
The first two rankers from the taluka in SSC, HSSC and graduation besides the two toppers of CBSE board conducted examinations in X and XII from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya will also be felicitated.
The four schools “ Shradhanand Vidyalaya-Poinguinim, St Sebastian-Loliem, St Anthony-Galgibaga and GHS-Cotigao from Canacona taluka which secured 100 percent results in SSC examinations will also be felicitated.
