Summer workshops at Baina
VASCO: The Ravindra Bhavan at Baina will organise various workshops and other programmes during summer vacation for children, women and senior citizens from April 16.
Baina Ravindra Bhavan chairman Shekar Khadapkar said a free musical programme 'Shabdanchya Palikadle' will be organised on April 16, at 7 pm, while a Bharatnatyam dance presentation will be staged on April 23, and a Marathi sangeet drama festival will take place from April 26 to 28, at 7 pm.
“There will be a Box Theatre Festival from April 29 to May 5, a Savedana Dot Com Marathi play (April 29), Tabut Zindagi Hindi play (April 30), Amhi Sataya Majalyavar Marathi play (May 1),” said Khadapkar.
Other programmes include acting, dance, magic, paper craft, soft toys making, Pakhawaj and mahila bhavan, Zumba dance, Laavni dance, compering workshops in two languages Konkani and Marathi and a special session TV news reading for children will be held during the camps.
