Syrian Church celebrates 25 years

PANAJI: Marthoma Syrian Church marked its 25 year of existence in Goa with a celebrations at Zuari Nagar in Vasco. Bishop Dr Geevarghese Mar Theodosius Episcopa inaugurated the silver jubilee celebrations in the presence of Minister for Science and Technology Alina Saldanha.

Bishop in his message urged people to reach out to the least, lost and the last and he also asked people to educate at least one underprivileged child during the jubilee year.

Alina Saldanha requested people to spread the message of Saint Thomas of peace, harmony and goodwill. She also stressed on making our activities religious and secular.

Marthoma Syrian Church will hold ‘Mogutsav’- a festival of love across the State throughout this year.
