Thieves decamp with goods worth Rs 85,000 from Kundaim school

Burglars decamped with a laptop, projector and copper wire, all worth Rs 85,000, from New English School at Kundaim.

According to Ponda Police, the school headmaster Anant Gaonkar complained that the burglars broke open the front door and entered the premises. A laptop, LCD projector and copper wire were stolen from the school.

Police suspect that the incident must have occurred either on Saturday or Sunday night.

Ponda Police has registered an offence against unknown person and PSI Yogesh Mandrekar is investigating

the case.
