MAPUSA: Two young electronics technicians died when their scooter and a loaded truck collided at Kamarkhazan-Mapusa junction on Monday at about 11 am.
The deceased have been identified as scooter rider Vivek Bicholkar (26) from Revora and pillion rider Sarvesh Kudav (35) from Shel-Bastora. The truck driver fled from the spot but was later arrested.
Meanwhile, a 19-year-old girl from Cortalim died after she was knocked down by a speeding car near the Cortalim Cross junction on Monday evening.
