Three Marcela students go missing

PONDA: Three schoolboys from a Marcela school have reportedly gone missing on Tuesday. The complaint in this regards have been filed by parents of the respective students.
Police sources informed The Goan that the three boys, all hailing from Ponda taluka and studying in different divisions of the same class, had not attended school on Tuesday and had failed to return to their respective homes till late evening.
Frantic parents then went to the Ponda police station to report the matter. According to sources, the teachers concerned were summoned to the police station following a missing complaint lodged by the parents.
Ponda police late Tuesday night recorded the statements of teachers and parents in the connection, as investigations were in progress.
