Goa TMC files has filed a complaint regarding a video that had been widely circulated alleging that the video is doctored with the intention to defame TMC candidates.
TMC in its complaint has named Aam Aadmi Party and a news channel named Hindi Khabar alleging that video is been doctored with an intention to defame candidates of TMC for breaching a silent period.
The complaint was filed by Rajya Sabha MP and TMC Goa co-incharge Sushmita Dev and Goa TMC Mahila Wing Vice-President Pratibha Borkar at the Chief Electoral Officer’s office in Panaji late on Saturday night.
"The video showing our Benaulim candidate Churchill Alemao is fake. We will prove this with forensic evidence. This is clearly a political conspiracy and the proof of that is that the Aam Aadmi Party has tweeted this", said Sushmita Dev.
The video has been removed from some sites itself proves that the video has been doctored.
Goa TMC has requests the ECI to take strictest action against all those who have flouted rules during the silence period.
