Top cops transferred

The State government has effected transfers of senior police officials of the level of Deputy Inspector General and Superintendent.Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Vimal Anand Gupta has been transferred as DIG Coastal Security while Bhairon Singh Gujar has been given the charge of Headquarters rnwhich brings along with it the charges of legal and vigilance, Police Training School, Reserve Battallions, rnElection Cell, Motor Transport, Home Guards and Civil Defence as well as well as Economic Offences Cell.
