Two held for scooter theft

Ponda Police arrested two persons from Ponda in connection with the theft of a two-wheeler.
Police informed that Farooq Peerjade from Panditwada-Ponda had complained that his Suzuki Access scooter,which was parked in front of his house, was stolen in August.
The police have identified the accused as Bhimsen Katti and Felix Paes, both 19 years in age and residing in Ponda.
The complainant had also stated that his wallet containing cash of Rs 40,000 and documents kept in the scooter were stolen by the accused.
Police has recovered the scooter and is investigating the case.
