Ucassaim woman succumbs to accident injuries

A 67-year-old woman from Ucassaim, who was involved in a road mishap four days ago, succumbed to her injuries while undergoing medical treatment on Sunday morning.

Mapusa Police informed that the deceased, Agnes D’Souza, had met with an accident on March 21. According to the police, the deceased travelling from Ucassaim to Bastora was riding pillion on a scooter ridden by her daughter-in-law at around 10.30 am.  
In the middle of the journey, her daughter-in-law lost balance and as a result the deceased fell off from the two-wheeler and was injured.  
She was shifted to the GMC for treatment, but succumbed to her injuries. Police said 
the post-mortem was yet to 
be done.
