A delegation from the University of Nottingham (UoN), United Kingdom, visited BITS Pilani, K K Birla Goa Campus on Wednesday.
The UoN delegation comprised Dr Nagamani Bora (Director of Biotechnology Degree Programmes), Dr Steve Greedy (Associate Professor and member of the George Green Institute for Electromagnetics Research), Lucy Rose (Senior Education & Student Experience Manager - Admissions, Faculty of Engineering) and Matt Bonner (International Partnership Manager).
The visit was aimed to enhance collaborations between BITS Pilani and UoN in the field of research, students exchange and Off-Campus Thesis.
The possibility of including experts in relevant areas from the University of Nottingham for joint supervision of PhDs was also discussed.
The UoN delegation had a fruitful interaction with Prof Suman Kundu, Director, K K Birla Goa Campus, Deans, Associate Deans and faculty members of BITS Pilani, Goa Campus.
The event was coordinated by Prof Rajesh Mehrotra, Associate Dean, International Programmes & Collaboration Division (IPCD) and Professor, Dept of Biological Sciences, Goa Campus.
