Inspector General of Police Sunil Garg has been transferred to Delhi with the Joint Cadre Authority of AGMU Cadre approving his transfer. The approval was communicated to the State government on Saturday.

Garg is an officer from the 1992 batch of Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram and Union Territory (AGMUT ) cadre.
His transfer comes in the backdrop of accusations of corruption with a Vasco-based businessman Munnalal.
The fourth edition of the electronic dance music (EDM) festival, which was earlier held in Goa in December every year, will take place in February in Pune in 2017.
