The Directorate of Health Services (DHS) is hiring 51 personnel, including doctors, nurses, helpers and other staff, on one-year contracts to support its Urban health centres achieve goals set by National Urban Health Mission.
Thirteen of these positions are for doctors who will officiate as “health officers” and one post is for a “pharmacist”.
Eighteen from the lot of 51 contractual employees will have to be nursing graduates who will be hired as “staff nurses”.
The rest of the positions are for “support staff” (18) and one lower-division clerk.
Meanwhile, the Legislature Department has notified 10 regular basis posts, including those of junior assistants, multi-tasking staff and one electronics and communication engineer.
