Two regular Valpoi blood donors feted

Two Valpoi residents were felicitated for donating blood over the past three decades.
Phoenix Socio Cultural Association (PSCA), Valpoi and Dr Ashok Amshekar, in collaboration with Community Health Centre Valpoi, observed World Blood Donor’s Day with the theme 'Thank you for saving my life'.
PSCA members identified and felicitated Shekar Katkar and Pradeep Goundalkar, who have been regular donors from Valpoi.
Dr Amshekar lauded PSCA's effort in honouring the donors and said that such acts would motivate young donors.
PSCA president Samir Shaikh appealed to both the donors to continue their noble act.
Founder president of PSCA Abdulla Khan also spoke on the occasion.
CHC Valpoi medical counsellor Aquib Shaikh, Sayyad Sarfaraz, Narhari Shirodkar, Jamila Shaikh, Numan Shaikh, Shuneza Khan, Noushin Mulla, Zubariya Shaikh, Aftab Khan, Bushra Khan and Hanzala Khan were present for the function.
