In a late night development, the Valpoi police arrested one Kishan Naik (26) on charges of offending religious sentiments by posting derogatory remarks against Prophet Muhammad on social media.
Naik was arrested under Sections 259A (intending to outrage religious feelings) and 505(2) (statements conducing public mischief) of the Indian Penal Code.
