The Valpoi Gaushala has launched a mobile pickup to lift injured cattle from the roads and transport them to the Gaushala.
Mindful that a number of cattle have been injured or killed in road mishaps, the Valpoi Gaushala has provided a mobile van service to transport the injured cattle to the gaushala for treatment, so that the cattle can be saved.
The Gaushala has provided a helpline 8308504755 for details on the injured cattle and the Valpoi Gaushala incharge Hanumant Parab has appealed to people to contact the helpline.
In the last eight days, eight injured cattle have been treated at the Gaushala after being picked up by the mobile pickup.
“When people call the helpline, the vehicle will immediately proceed to the scene and if necessary, treatment will be provided on site, otherwise the injured cattle will be taken to the Gaushala and treated there,” said Parab.
