Verification forms submission
PANAJI: The North District Magistrate has ordered owners of houses, buildings, flats and other residential accommodation and owners and management of hotels, lodging and boarding, private guest houses, paying guest accommodation in North Goa to verify the bonafides of the person through their proof of identity such as Election Card, Driving License, Smart Card, Passport, etc and fill in the tenant/visitor guest verification form before such persons are allowed to reside/stay in their premises and furnish the same to local police station.
This order comes into force on May 18, and is effective up to July 16.
Any person contravening this order shall be punishable under section 188 of the IPC.
