Vishnu Wagh returns home from hospital after 7 months

Ex-MLA Vishnu Wagh has returned home after he was discharged from the Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai after a more than seven month hospital stay.

Wagh who suffered a heart attack and was initially given little chance of survival has recovered remarkably even though he will need continued assistance to get by.

Wagh was discharged on Wednesday and is understood to have arrived home the same day. The family is not keen to have people visit him and visits have been discouraged.

Duplicate hand carts emerge; Market Inspectors blamed

Market inspectors of the Corporation of the City of Panaji found themselves in tight spot after it was discovered that the city had more hand carts than the prescribed limit of 72.
