Rossman Cruz Nagoa Sports Club beat Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda 7-5 via tiebreaker to sail into the semi final of All Goa Fr Basilo Andrade memorial inter village football tournament organized by AA De Majorda at Musson grounds, Majorda on Thursday.
Rossman Cruz Sports Club led 3-2 at lemon-break. Rossman Cruz Sports Club started the game on an attacking note and Santan Rego put his team in front in the early moments of the game. However their joy was short-lived when Francis Andrade unleashed a left-footed drive and crashed into the net. Spurred by the equalizer, Don Bosco Oratory intensified their attacks as Danny Dias made it 2-1 in favour of Don Bosco Oratory. Stung by that setback, Rossman Cruz Sports Club regrouped quickly and took the fight to the rival camp and in the 27th minute Savio Fernandes Braganza put them on equal terms. Razor Braganza regained the lead for Nagoa at the stroke of lemon break
Don Bosco Oratory dominated the second session and equalized in the dying minutes through Francis Andrade. In the ensuing tie breaker, Stephen Pereira, Savio Fernandes, Razor Braganza and Wilson Fernandes scored for Rossman Cruz while only Francis Andrade and Jason Pinto shot at the target for Don Bosco Oratory.
