Waterlogging makes access to Chimbel SHC difficult

Waterlogging makes access to Chimbel SHC difficult

OLD GOA
Patients or visitors arriving at the Chimbel Sub Health Centre (SHC) housed at the Old Age Home premises for treatment or for Covid testing have found it difficult to gain comfortable access to the SHC as the entrance remains waterlogged.

When The Goan visited the centre, there was waterlogging at the main entry gate of the Old Age Home and the waterlogging spread towards the entrance of the SHC as well.

Locals have complained that patients, particularly senior citizens, find it difficult to enter the sub health centre due to the waterlogging and have requested authorities concerned to take immediate measures to ensure that the rain water does not accumulate at the entrances.
