Wiseman on int'l pathology panels

PANAJI: Dr RG Wiseman Pinto, Professor and Head of Pathology department, GMC, Bambolim, has been appointed on three international panels of pathology. He has been elected as the president of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation Academy of Cytopathology and Histopathology for 2016 -17, at Dhaka, Bangladesh. This organisation consists of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Maldives and Afghanistan.

He has also been re-elected as the Chairman of International Affairs Committee of the Indian Academy of Cytologists for a 3-year term from 2016 to 2018 at Dehradun.

Dr Pinto has also been appointed on the Editorial Board of the International Journal Practical Pathology.
