Woman booked for attempted murder
VALPOI: A 43-year-old man from Shelpe-Sattari has accused his wife of attempting to kill their three-and-half-year-old daughter by trying to strangulate her with a nylon rope and also throwing their one-and-half-year-old daughter to the floor.
According to Valpoi Police, the incident occurred on May 27, at about 9 pm. The husband in his complaint stated that his wife had committed the crime due to a dispute between them.
An offence under Sections 307, 323, 504 IPC and Section 8 (2) (a) of Goa Children's Act has been registered against the 37-year-old mother.
