PANAJI: The Goa State Pollution Control Board in collaboration with the Department of Environment is organizing a programme on the occasion of World Environment Day on June 6, at 4.30 pm in the Sanskruti Bhawan, Patto, Panaji. Environment Minister, Rajendra Arlekar will attend the programme.

Hindustani musical concert PANAJI: Goa Kannada Sangh Margao, jointly with Directorate of Arts and Culture, Panaji, is organizing 'Sangeeta Varshinee' a Hindustani musical concert by vocalist Pandit Kaivalya Kumar Gurav from Dharwad on June 6, at 5.30 pm at Veerashaiva Lingayat Mutt, Pajifond, Margao. He will perform Hindustani vocal, Kannada bhajans and vachanas and also Marathi abhangs and natyageets at the concert.
