Research on Kaavi art form

PANAJI: The Charles Correa Foundation has initiated research on mapping and documenting known and existing traditional building crafts prevalent in Goa’s architectural heritage. The Foundation’s research commences with documenting Kaavi - an art form that is in urgent need of awareness and restoration. Heta Pandit, a well-known historian, author and activist with an interest in preserving Goa’s heritage, is guiding and collaborating with CCF on this project.

An event is arranged on June 8, at 4.30 pm at the Foundation Studio to create and encourage a dialogue on the need to preserve bygone building art forms such as Kaavi.
