Ponda college gets new principal

PONDA: Dr Vikas Jivottam Pissurlekar has been promoted as principal of Ponda Education Society’s Ravi Sitaram Naik College of Arts and Science at Farmagudi-Ponda.

In a press note, PES has stated that Dr Anil Shridhar Dinge has retired on superannuation from the services of Ponda Education Society and has been relieved from duties.

Dr Pissurlekar took charge on June 1. The teaching fraternity has congratulated Pissurelkar.

KR, CONCOR to build terminal for containers on rail route at Balli

Konkan Railway Corporation and Container Corporation of India Ltd (CONCOR) will build a container terminal in Balli in South Goa.

Gupta said, “We have land in Balli, which has access to the national highway-17.
