The writ petition filed against a hotel proposed in Arossim has been adjourned and will come up for admission and final disposal before the Panaji bench of Bombay high court on June 9.
It may be recalled that the Cansaulim-Arossim-Cuelim Consumers and Villagers Forum along with Cansaulim Villagers Action Committee and the Cansaulim-Arossim-Cuelim panchayat had filed a writ petition in the High Court, after the Margao district court vacated its stay granted against the hotelier, Competant Automobiles.
Adv Ryan Menezes appeared for the Cansaulim forum and villagers while Adv Nigel D'Costa Frias appeared for the panchayat.
