Yoga session by CII on June 21

PANAJI: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) had in past years organised yoga sessions for its members on the International Yoga Day to which several thousand representatives, including CEOs, employees and family members participated. This year too, to support the initiative CII Goa will be hosting yoga sessions for its members with the support of Young Indians (Yi) and Indian Women Network (IWN), the youth arm and women wing of CII.

The session will be held on June 21, from 7.30 am to 9 am, at CII Goa office, 1st floor, Salgaocar Centre, Panaji.

BBSM holds stir at Old Goa AGASSAIM: Members of Bhartiya Bhasha Suraksha Manch (BBSM) staged a one-day token hunger strike near Gandhi statue at Old Goa. “Local languages are in danger and it is a pity that we have to fight for our survival,” said Fr Mouzinho Athaide, under whose leadership the hunger strike was organised on Saturday.
