Family members of deceased Zenito Vaz, besides dhirio lovers from across the state on Tuesday expressed shock over the video that has gone viral to suggest that the deceased was gored to death at a bull fight.
Zenito’s brother Romeo insisted that his brother has gored to death by a buffalo near the cowshed at their residence at Fatrade. “We are shocked to learn over the video that has gone viral suggested that my brother has died at a bull fight. I want to say that my brother died near our house and not at a bull fight”, Romeo told the media at his Fatrade residence.
Dhirio lover Warren Alemao wondered how come the video has gone viral when Zenito has been gored to death near his residence.
“Zenito has left behind his wife and a minor son, besides his parents. How would they react when the video suggests that he has been gored to death at a bull fight”, he questioned.
Saying that bull fight lovers from Salcete, Agassaim and other parts of the state have been left in a state of shock over the video, Warren said the police authorities have been doing their job in the last two days. “The post mortem has been conducted on the body. Forensic Team has come to the residence of Zenito on Tuesday. We are all cooperating with the police and other agencies. To our shock and surprise, a video has been uploaded on the social media to suggested that Zenito was gored at a bull fight”, he said.
Varca panch member and ex-deputy sarpanch Rolan Fernandes said even as Zenito’s family was hit by a tragedy after his unfortunate death, the video suggesting that he was gored to death at a bull fight has come as a shock to the bull fight fans.
