“We are still in the preliminary stage and are studying the differences between the 2001 and 2021 plan. We are studying what has been added and what has been removed. We understand that some changes were done with the recommendation and others without their knowledge,” D’Souza said adding that he has sought details of those changes.
At the meeting the Town and Country Planning (TCP) Department submitted a report on the differences between the 2001 and 2021 plan which was discussed.
“We will study the criteria that they adopted and why they adopted the criteria, the reasons, etc,” D’Souza said.
The SLC will draw up criteria for processing the suggestions and objections received. The Minister for Town and Country Planning reiterated that the SLC will be tackling the talukas of Sattari and Pernem which have the least objections and suggestions first.
