Speaking to media persons, Parsekar said, “As regards the access roads and power and water supply, the work is being taken care of. Consultants have also been put on both sites and we expect to come out with a master plan for both in a month’s time. We will go to the respective panchayats to get permissions and will keep it open for whoever wants to see it.”
He also said that two representatives would be sent to the two panchayats to clear up any doubts that people may have. The public would be allowed to view the master plans that will be on display at the respective panchayats.
The electronic city to be constructed on six lakh square meters of land in Tuem and IT Park on three lakh square meters in Chimbel will be opeartional four years time, added the Chief Minister.
CM said the land for both projects was in possession of govt and was being developed for basic infrastructure like roads, power and water.
