11-year-old girl raped by UP native

In a shocking incident, an 11-year-old minor girl was raped by a native of Uttar Pradesh at Benaulim on Monday noon.
Both the victim and the accused, hailing from Odisha and Uttar Pradesh respectively, are staying on rent in Benaulim.
Colva Police Station in-charge PI Melson Colaco said the police immediately swung into action and arrested the accused Dharmendra Yadav.
He said the accused hailing from Uttar Pradesh is working as a salesman.
The incident occurred when the minor school girl was alone in the house after her father had gone out. The victim's mother has gone to her native state Odisha.
PI Colaco informed the police immediately arrested the accused and referred him for medical examination.
The girl was also referred for a medical examination.
Colva Police is investigating.
