Two more Covid-related deaths were recorded in Goa raising the Covid victim count in the State to 690.
The deceased persons include an 82-year-old from Pernem with diabetes, hypertension and cardiomyopathy and a 72-year-old from Quepem with hypertension.
In addition to this, 161 new cases of the infection were detected in Goa in the last 24 hours after testing of 2,048 samples. While the confirmed cases now stand at 48,124 from the 3.5 lakh people who have been tested so far, the active count has risen to 1,366.
A total of 46,068 or 95.73 per cent patients have recovered till date.
