Covid claimed 67 more lives in the past 24 hours and registered 2,633 new cases while there were 3078 recoveries and the active count was that of 31,875 patients.
With today’s 67 deaths, the total official count in the State went up to 1679. Out of the total 5671 samples tested today, 46.42 per cent (2633 sample) were found to be positive, taking the active Covid count to 31875.
Of these, 33 deaths occurred at GMC, 26 deaths at SGDH, 4 deaths at SDH Ponda, 3 at ESI hospital and 1 at South Goa private hospital.
Of the 58 persons in the 45-years and above age group who expired, only five were vaccinated, that too with first dose.
