Around seven cars which were parked in a garage at Dandeavaddo-Chinchinim were gutted in a major fire in the wee hours of Sunday.
On receipt of information, Margao fire brigade rushed to the spot only to find the cars parked in the garbage caught in a blaze.
Fire officials claimed that around seven cars were completely gutted in the fire which destroyed property worth around Rs six lakh. They claimed to have saved property valued at around Rs 30 lakh.
The fire services pointed out that the owner of the garage has not turned up to submit the exact loss of property.
The cause of the fire also remains unknown.
