Coming down heavily on AAP State President Amit Palekar over statement that RGP is an alliance partner of BJP, RGP President Manoj Parab termed Palekar as a selfish politician who would go to any length to achieve his ambitions.
Speaking to The Goan, Parab said, "Palekar wants to win from St Cruz constituency and whoever comes in his way, then he uses terms as B-team, alliance partners of BJP or not trustworthy party. If everybody would toe his line then he would have nothing to say against them which is why he is terming RGP as an alliance partner of BJP and Congress as untrustworthy party."
Parab said that Palekar knows that he can't win St Cruz on AAP ticket which is why he is resorting to name-calling tactics in the hope that other parties would toe his line.
On Palekar's statement that Parab comes out like a urrak season, Parab pointed out that in Palekar's village of Merces where there are several scrapyards, AAP never bothered to file a single complaint.
"In Chimbel, government and comunidade lands are being encroached upon but there is no whimper from AAP," Parab pointed out and said that it is RGP which is fighting against such illegalities.
Parab then reiterated that RGP will align with AAP if Palekar shows spine and works in tandem to weed out illegalities by migrants in Merces and Chimbel, particularly Indira Nagar locality where Palekar is seen camping regularly during elections.
"I am not telling Palekar to take up issues of entire Goa. You only help us to tackle illegalities by migrants in St Cruz constituency alone, and also to delete dual voting cards of migrants, and I assure that RGP will ally with AAP," Parab said while throwing a gauntlet.
He then chided that AAP is not a party of the Aam Aadmi but that of a Khaas Aadmi.
"I have worked with AAP and I have seen how only the khaas karyakartas are getting promoted," Parab added.
