MARGAO
The Goacan has called upon passengers travelling in KTCL buses departing from Margao bus stand to be alert and check the tickets issued to them.
Goacan coordinator Roland Martins said many of the ticket issuing machines are old and the batteries are running out. “The date & time of the ticket issued could be of the previous day. Being susegad could cost you a fine from the Ticket Checker (TC),” he said.
He further said that Girish Gaude, KTCL Margao Depot Manager has confirmed that ticket issuing machines are having a problem.
Goacan has decided to take up the matter with Director of Transport Rajan Satardekar for an intervention to get KTCL to issue new machines for Margao as being used in Panaji.
Goacan is observing the Consumer Empowerment Week from March 14 to 20, to promote & protect the rights of the consumers in Goa.
