Burglars decamp with Rs 80,000 cash from St Andrew's church office

Burglars in the wee hours of Sunday broke open the doors of the St Andrew’s Church office and decamped with cash of Rs 80,000.

According to sources, the incident was reported between 2.45 and 3.30 am in the St Andrew's Church office located behind the church wherein unknown culprits broke open the locks of the office door and entered in and decamped with cash of Rs 80,000 

The incident has shocked the officials of St Andrew's church. Parish Priest Fr Gabriel Coutinho later filed a police complaint at Vasco police station but till late Sunday evening the accused were not nabbed, and Vasco police is further investigating the case by PSI Ritesh Tari under the supervision of PI Nilesh Rane and guidance of DySP Raju Raut Desai.

BELAGAVIDoctors at the KLES Dr Prabhakar Kore Hospital here have saved the life of a 10-day-old infant from Goa by performing a rare cardiac surgery.Divulging details, Dr Praveen Tambrallimath of the KLES Hospital said that a Goan woman had delivered twin female babies at Goa Medical College, recently.
