In another crucial decision, the Mapusa Municipal Council (MMC) has decided to introduce the e-governance facility in the civic body to keep track of file movement in the council.
“On several occasions we faced embarrassing situations where certain files were misplaced or not found. We have therefore decided to implement the e-governance facility for the general public and the setting up of the help desk for e-governance services and file tracking system,” said Shubhangi Vaigankar, Chairperson of MMC.
The council, without any discussion, unanimously passed the resolution to implement the e-governance services and file tracking system.
