Saying that medical stores & pharma wholesale distributors play an important role in ensuring availability & accessibility of medicines including life saving drugs, Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat has demanded that they be covered as Covid Frontline Workers.
“I urge the Chief Minister Pramod Sawant to take note of the same & issue directions accordingly,” he said, adding “In this pandemic time it is important to maintain the distribution and availability chain of medicines. The owners as well as the employees and workers need to be given preference in vaccination etc.”
Complimenting the pharma sector in Goa for playing a pro-active role in overall handling and management of Covid pandemic, Kamat saluted each and every person who worked even during the nationwide lockdown to give service to the nation.
