PONDA: Ponda police have booked a case against Sagar Naik of Nagzar-Curti on charges of cheating a woman of Rs 15 lakh under the pretext of giving her a job as a teacher at a school in Marcela.
According to police, the accused Sagar Naik collected Rs 15 lakh from the woman but failed to give her the job.
A complaint was lodged with the Ponda police station on Monday night and Police Inspector Vijaynath Kavalekar is conducting further investigation in this matter.
