The repair of the pipeline at Duler-Mapusa has been delayed and residents in Porvorim and Saligao constituencies will continue to face water shortage.The WRD had promised to complete the repair work by Saturday and start testing on Sunday, but the repair work continued even on Wednesday.
WRD officers could not reveal the reason for the delay in repairing the pipeline, but assured that testing of the water pipeline would be done on Thursday.
Work has been going on since the last 25 days and this has caused severe water shortage in Porvorim and Saligao constituencies.
