Fake video row: Ministers extend support to Sawant

A day after Chief Minister Pramod Sawant termed the viral video, circulated against him as defamatory, his cabinet colleagues have slammed "politically motivated" people for trying to tarnish CM's image.

Addressing a joint press conference, WRD Minister Subhash Shirodkar and Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte condemned the viral video, which according to them is without any evidence. 

Shirodkar said that the Chief Minister has always worked in the best interests of Goa and urged everyone to unite for the state's betterment. 

Meanwhile, Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte also spoke out against the fake video, stating it to be "highly condemnable."

He highlighted that while the government is working on various long-term solutions towards the betterment of the State, the same cannot be achieved overnight.

Khaunte reaffirmed the government's commitment to developing Goa and criticized those who shared misleading information.
