Farmers stop survey work

A group of farmers are reported to have stopped survey work at the site proposed for the IIT project at Cottarli-Sanguem.

“Some officers from the survey department had visited the proposed site for survey operations on Thursday, but were reportedly told by farmers not to undertake any survey operations within their paddy fields till the issue is resolved by the government,” said a source.
