Revolutionary Goans Party supremo Manoj Parab charged the Goa Government for being anti-Goans in a press conference along with Licio Roncon at the party head office in Panaji on Monday.
Parab said that he will brief the press every day and conduct the panchanama of the government budget report. Parab also presented the data on how the funds received by the Central government were kept unutilised.
He further stated that time and again the CM and his wife said Goans don't want to work in private firms and hence non-Goans are employed. The RGP Supremo challenged Sawant that he will prove how many Goans are working for low wages and how they are travelling and these workers are exploited.
"In the name of skills development government is showing a rosy picture but the reality is completely different," he clarified
Parab said the 'Central Engine' of the 'Double Engine Sarkaar' unutilised the funds sanctioned under the 7 schemes from Skill India Programme such as PMKVY which allocated Rs 56 crore out of which Rs 10 crore was received while the government spend only Rs 2crore, under STRIY Rs 3 crore was allocated while Rs 1.3 crore was utilised, under Model ITIs Rs 3.5 crore was sanctioned while Rs 1 crore was utilised, Women and Youth Employment through skill development this year had no funds allocated, while Mega Skill Centres Budget and Women Skill empowerment Budget also had no funds allocated and finally, the International Skill centre Budget allocated was just Rs 5 lakhs.
