PORVORIM
Goods worth Rs 1 lakh have been burgled from a house in Porvorim sometime between April 1 and April 3.
Rajan Sinai Kuncolienkar filed a complaint with Porvorim Police station stating that he had gone out with his family during this period and when they returned, they realised that a burglary had taken place.
Burglars had entered his house by breaking the window grills of his old house and decamped with 6 glasses, one vessel of silver and other articles worth Rs 1 lakh.
Porvorim police have registered an offence under Sections 454, 457 and 380 of IPC against the accused and police are investigating the case, said Povrorim Police Inspector Anant Gaonkar.
